Mark Toombs Partridge, born January 2, 1954, died unexpectedly on June 18, 2018, at age 64. He was born in Sheridan, Wyoming, to Dale and Dorothy Partridge and was brother to four brothers and three sisters.
Mark was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served a mission to Montevideo, Uruguay, and was an example of piety and quiet integrity. He married Connie White in the Salt Lake Temple on November 26, 1975, and together raised three children. Connie says one of the reasons she married Mark was that she profoundly regarded the way he treated his mother.
Mark was an industrious, hard worker. He never let a job to be done sit idle, especially when it came to serving others. Often when someone needed help which he could provide, he would give without thought of recompense. He did "impart of [his] substance to the poor…according to that which he [had], such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and administering to their relief, both spiritually and temporally, according to their wants" (Mosiah 4:26). His children came to know that God is real and loves them because they could imagine a Heavenly Father who loved and provided for them as Mark did.
He is preceded in death by his beautiful daughter, Wendy, his parents, and four brothers. He is survived by his wife, Connie, son Rick (Heidi) and daughter Julianne (Cory) Weeks and eight grandchildren-the joy of his life.
A viewing will be held Saturday, June 23, from 9-10:00 a.m. at the Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. Interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park in West Valley.
