Marlene Burningham Lawson

Our dear Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away on Saturday November 24, 2018 at the age of 85.  She was preceded in death by Joseph Kearns Lawson to whom she was sealed to in the Salt Lake Temple on May 23, 1952. She was also preceded in death by her son Joseph Lynn Lawson and granddaughter Kourtney Casper Sa.

Marlene is survived by William (Sheralee), Jolene Nannini (Robert), Kathy Milligan (Donald), 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Her life was centered around family. She was devoted to and uniquely cared about each member of her family. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. If family needed help, she was always there. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and blessed the lives of many through her years of selfless service. Marlene was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and was proud of her pioneer heritage. She spent many years participating in book clubs with her friends. She was very talented with her hands and well known for sewing, quilting, embroidery and crocheting.

Funeral services will be held on Friday November 30, at 11:00 am at the Bountiful 34th Ward located at 540 North 1200 East Bountiful, Utah. Family and friends may attend a viewing on Friday November 30 from 9:30-10:30 am at the church prior to the services.

We love Marlene and know she is enjoying a grand reward and great reunion.
