Marlene "Marli" Nebeker

April 27, 1939 — December 15, 2014

“Marli” Gaye Nebeker passed away peacefully after a long illness at Avalon Care Center in Bountiful, on December 15, 2014.
She was born April 27, 1939 to Leo C. and Afton Smith Larsen in Grace, Idaho. She married Dale M. Nebeker on May 24, 1958. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She is survived by her husband, Dale; children: Scot D. (Liz), Lori Gaye Ferrin (Ralph), Valeri Lyn Nebeker, and Shauna Kaye Nebeker; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, Steve Larsen, Providence, Ut., and sisters, Julie Wood, Fielding, Ut., and Kathy Holmgren, Tremonton, Ut.
Marli was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served numerous callings, her favorite of which was teacher/advisor to the Young Women of the MIA. She also served as a volunteer to Hospice for several years.
Marli was a wonderful wife and mother to her family, who because of Dale’s work assignments had to establish many new family homes during her marriage, from Salt Lake City to Pocatello, ID., to North Ogden, Utah to Taylorsville, Utah to Veradale, WA. to Opportunity, WA. to Ephata, WA. to Midvale, Utah to Millwood, WA., to Bellevue, WA., to Newport Shores, WA., to Logan, Utah to Bennion, Utah, to Idaho Falls, ID., to Ammon, ID., to Bountiful, Utah.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. She will be cremated and there will be no public viewing scheduled. Interment will follow at Beaver Dam Cemetery, Beaver Dam, Utah.
