Marlien Kelley Taylor

Marlien Taylor 1955-2011 Our dearly loved mother, sister and friend Marlien Kierstead Kelley Taylor passed away on June 11, 2011. Marlien was born on February 15, 1955 to Leo and Lorna Kierstead at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. She had three wonderful sons with her first husband. During Marliens professional career, she was employed for 21 years at Utah Air National Guard. Marlien loved to cook for large groups. She would always prepare meals for everyone on the base. Marlien was always thinking of others before herself. Her kindness and generosity has touched the lives of many. She is preceded in death by her parents and second husband Rodney Taylor. Survived by her sons Dustin Kelley (Lara), Stewart Kelley (Alisia), Cliff Kelley, four granddaughters and several extended grandchildren, four brothers, one twin sister, many nieces, nephews, friends and her two dogs Rocket and Mamma. We would like to give a special thank you to the amazing ICU staff at Lakeview Hospital and VistaCare Hospice who cared for Marlien. On Thursday, June 16th, there will be a viewing from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, UT. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, with a viewing prior to services from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment will take place in the Bountiful Cemetery.
