Marlynn France

Marlynn France, born December 17, 1952 passed away on July 19, 2018 due to heart complications. Marlynn was a very successful woman, working for Qwest in telecommunications for over 20 years, making lifelong friends whom she shared many of her passions with.  After she retired from Qwest she pursued her schooling and career in nursing at the University of Utah Hospital.  She loved caring for others.

 Although she never had children of her own, she took on the responsibility of raising Jason France giving him a great and happy life.  She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews at the pool, bowling alley, trips to Wendover, concerts, movies and much more.  Marlynn had a love for bowling as she bowled on a league for as long as anyone can remember. She loved to read, listen to Neil Diamond, California raisins, and we can’t forget how much she loved Betty Boop.

Marlynn leaves behind her mother, Sanona Beckstrand, son, Jason France, brother, Charles France, sisters; Kayleen McCarthy and Renee Killebrew, nephews; Jake Killebrew, Charlie France, Mike McCathy, Robert McCarthy, nieces; Robyn Shaw, Aubrey Greaves and Jenny Danner, grandson, Brayden France, among many others.

Marlynn is preceded in death by her father Charles Rushforth France and daughter in law, Jamie France.

A close family and friend viewing will be held on Saturday July 28th at 3:30-5:00 pm at Russon Farmington Mortuary, 1941 North Main Street, Farmington, Utah.
