Marta Petrona Ramirez viuda de Osorio

Marta Petrona Ramirez viuda de Osorio, 92, died peacefully on March 22, 2019, at Heritage Park Healthcare in Roy, Utah. She was born February 4, 1927, in Sao Paulo, Brazil or Pedro Juan Caballero, Paraguay to Victor Manuel Ramirez and Lucia Otilia Mora.

She married Ramon Osorio on October 29, 1945. They were blessed with 7 children. Her mother and children were some of the first members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Paraguay. She and Ramon also joined the Church many years later and their family was sealed on October 21, 1978 in the Provo Temple. Her descendants have served 16 missions so far.

She is survived by her children Beatriz (Craig) Campbell, Mercedes (Kent) Willis, Mirian Clark, Marta (Brad) Dorner, and Jon (Jeni) Osorio, by a son-in-law Lester Goforth and a daughter-in-law Adolfina Ozorio. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Hilda (Mario) Vinazza, her brother Joaquin (Betty) Almeida and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters Avelina, Blanca, and Maruca, by her son Gerardo Ozorio and her daughter Lucia Goforth and by a great grandson Lincoln Campbell.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Russon Mortuary, at 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah. Friends and family may visit at the Mortuary on Thursday prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Bountiful Cemetery.
