Martha Rae Morrow

Martha Rae Hill Morrow, 78, passed away on July 14th, 2018 at her home peacefully. She was born on March 10th, 1940 in Sandy Utah to George Albert Hill and Velma Laverne Graves. Martha married Leon George Morrow in Sandy Utah on October 10th, 1957. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 19th, 1969.

               Martha worked for the LDS church as a custodian for 17 years. She also had a second job at the JCPenny call center for 18 years. She retired at age 73. She was a primary teacher, which she loved and was involved in The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and very active in Scouts with her sons.

               She loved to read, crochet, and watch Westerns and Christmas movies with Leon. Her family was the most important thing in her life.

               Survived by her husband Leon, children Jerry (Carol) Morrow, Shellie (Brad) Leavitt, Michael Morrow, Brenda (Morrow) Bott, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and siblings Lloyd, Lareta, and Shirlene.

               Proceded in death by her son Jeffery, Parents, brothers Clarence and Sterling.

               A Graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm, Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1640 East Lakeview Drive Bountiful, Utah.  A viewing will be held prior to the Graveside on Wednesday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.
