Marvel Clayton

Marvel "Billie" Clayton died peacefully at home on Monday, November 4, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Billie was born on October 28, 1932 in Vernal, Utah to Wallace and Dezzie Goodrich. She married Robert Lee Clayton on August 12, 1953 in Vernal, Utah. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served faithfully in many callings in the Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary. 

Survived by her children, David, Marilyn Peart, Doug (Charise), Sandy Gunderson, Karen (Bruce) Cochran, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchild and one on the way. Also survived by her sister Lila Wilkins and brother Blaine (Bud) Goodrich and many nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, sister Enid Murray, brother-in-law Phil Murray, sister-in-law Shirley Goodrich, and son-in-law Richard Gunderson.

The family would like to thank Allison, Lindsay, Sophie, Shanna and Larson from Symbii Home Health and Hospice for their loving care. Billie was lovingly known as "Gma" and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 am at Stone Creek Ward Chapel 1476 N. 300 W. Bountiful, Utah.

Services will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary Live Facebook page and on this obituary page. The live stream will begin 10-15 minutes prior to services and will be posted below.
