Marvin Talbot Hendricks, 84, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, passed away May 25, 2012.
Marvin Tal was born December 26, 1927 in Lewiston, Utah to Joseph Vernon Hendricks and Bessie Talbot Hendricks. Married Mary Jeanne Seamons July 2, 1946 in the Logan Temple. She preceded him in death. He married Renee Overlade on September 30, 1998.
Marvin enlisted in the 11th Air Borne and served in the Occupation of Japan in World War II.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Renee, his daughter and son in law Lester and Tamyra Jeanne Brooks, four grandchildren in Utah; James Tal (Bobbi), Kimberly (William), Brian (Tiffany), Michael (Danielle) Brooks, 15 great grandchildren in Utah, three step sons in Florida; Kurt (Pat), Keith (Melissa) and Karl Overlade, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He worked for Chevron Oil at the Salt Lake refinery 33 years. Retired in 1990. He loved to play golf and watch the Jazz games.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main., Bountiful, UT. A viewing will be held from 12:45-1:45 prior to services. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Dr., Bountiful, UT. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com.
