Mary Beth Brown

Mary Beth Brown our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend died at home November 29th, 2018 at the age of 92.

Our thanks to the staff of Heartwood Hospice and Home Care Assistance who helped her to stay in her home the last few months. Ever the optimist she would often say, "things are looking up!"

Born In Logan Utah, August 3, 1926 she was a long time resident of Bountiful Utah. An accredited genealogist, Mary authored 2 books; "Handy Index to the Holdings of the Genealogical Society of Utah" and "Teaching Genealogy with Success".

She is survived by her sons, David F Brown and Richard P Brown; nephews Christopher J Jones and Douglas Chapman; nieces, Karen Bringhurst and Christine Edmunds.

She was preceded in death by her husband James M Brown; son Gary L Brown; father, Franklin L Jones; mother, Emily J Fereday; brother: Leslie F Jones, sisters: Martha J Jones and Josephine Roseman; nephew, Kevin L Jones.
 
There will be a viewing Saturday, December 8th, from 10:00-10:45 am, funeral starting at 11am at the Bountiful 27th ward, 1145 North 200 East. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mary's life.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.

Following the funeral she will be interred at the Centerville Cemetery.
