Mary Blackham

Mary Gout Blackham died June 27, 2008 from causes incident to age. She was born January 27, 1919 to Dirk Gout and Bertha Anna Schoss in Salt Lake City. She graduated from East High School. She married Benjamin Leslie Blackham on September 5, 1938. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a self-taught rock hound and also did lapidary. She enjoyed the treasures of nature, her beautiful roses and she loved to watch the humming birds.

She is survived by her children, Mary Ralph McEntire, Ben Sally, Steve Laraine, and John Gayle. She had 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband. Her family will truly miss her. The family would like to thank everyone at Legacy Bountiful House for their help as well as Legacy Hospice, especially January and Donette for their support through this difficult time.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2008, 1:00pm at the Aultorest Cemetery, 836 36th Street in Ogden, Utah.
