Mary Buck

Catherine Mary Buck passed away on March 20, 2012. She was born on May 27, 1924 to Tony and Lena Messina in Pueblo, Colorado. She graduated from Evanston High School in Evanston, Wyoming in 1942 and joined the United States Navy as a WAVE. She married Glen Ashton Buck, who also graduated from Evanston High and served 3 years in the Navy. They were married in Glen’s home on August 28, 1946. After Catherine converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, their marriage was solemnized in 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. Catherine was amazed at all the opportunities she had as a church member; either in the church or working for the church. She touched many lives with her incredible spirit. Her dear husband, Glen, precedes her in death. She is survived by two sons, Roger and Brent.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 1:00 p.m., at the Bountiful 28th Ward Chapel, 2285 South 200 West. The viewing will be held at from 11:45 -12:45 prior to the service. Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
