Mary Crystal Simkins Halladay, born June 30, 1939, returned to her love on December 8, 2022. She was born in Junction, Utah to Weldon Simkins and Trelma Barlow. She graduated from Piute High School and attended LDS Business College. Crystal married the love of her life, Jack Halladay, on September 4, 1957, in the Manti Utah Temple. She was preceded in death by her parents and spouse. She is survived by her sister, Creo Rule, and children, Jackie (Jon) Collins, Brett (Amy) Halladay, and Mike Halladay, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Crystal was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a love of genealogy and spent countless hours compiling family histories. Crystal had a great love of music starting at a young age and played the piano every chance she got. She spent her adult years working as a federal employee and spent much of her time in retirement volunteering for the Daughters of the Utah pioneers.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Farmington City Cemetery, 200 East 500 South. She will be greatly missed by her family.
