1931 – 2012

Mary Ellen Mason returned to her Heavenly Father on March 28th, 2012. Mary was born on 25th July, 1931 in Brooklyn, Queen County, New York to Martha Ross Shipman and John Henry Burtis. After growing up in Portland, Oregon, she married Robert Livingston Colvin and moved to California. Mary had 3 other marriages, to Darrell Umphenour, Don Vochatzer, and Dale Mason. At the time of her death she had been divorced from Dale for several years, but they still remained good friends. She worked at Lockheed in Burbank and later at Boeing in Orange County. Mary is survived by her son, James (Dorinda) Colvin, ( Missouri), Jody (Lynn H.) Arbuckle, (Utah), and Jillian Grey (Washington). Mary had many friends in California, and has kept in close contact with them throughout the years. She loved to dance and enjoyed socializing and traveling while her health permitted.

Graveside services and burial will be held on Thursday, April 5th, at 3 p.m. at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South, 200 West, in Bountiful.
