Mary Jill Roundy

November 30, 1978 — January 19, 2025

Our beloved Jill passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday January 19th, 2025. She died peacefully at home after succumbing to the effects of a medical condition she had been struggling with for the last 3 months of her life.

Jill was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 30th, 1978. She was the daughter of Rebecca Bennion McKean and Stanley Reed Schulze. She was a 1997 graduate of Highland High School.

On August 20th, 2007, she married the love of her life Michael John Roundy. In August of 2016 they made their home in Farmington, Utah.

Jill was the proud mother of four cats: Tilly, Tommy, Samantha, and Jack. They filled her heart and were an endless source of joy and entertainment. Not to mention her two other cats that had passed away in previous years: Matty and Frank, who were no doubt waiting to welcome her.

Jill was a longtime employee of Intermountain Healthcare and worked at Primary Children’s Hospital and Lake Park. After spending five years as an employee of R1, Jill was excited to get back to Intermountain Healthcare in 2023. Her last few years were working with the Cardiac Care team at Intermountain Medical Center. She cherished the friends that she had acquired along the way because they always made the tough days at work bearable.

Per Jill’s wishes she is to be cremated, and no funeral services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider donating to Primary Children’s Hospital in her name. https://intermountainhealthcare.org/locations/primary-childrens-salt-lake-city/give Jill especially cherished the years she worked in the Emergency Room at Primary Children’s Hospital.
