Mary M. Stott our beloved mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt, and friend returned to our Father in Heaven on March 28th, 2014. She was born December 13, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Helen Marie and Joseph John Miehlich.
Mary had a huge heart, opening her home to all those in need. There was never a time she didnt have someone living with her or was extending help to others. Family was extremely important to her, as were her animals. She raised four daughters and then was happy to raise three of her many grandchildren. She was always looking forward to and planning for the next time the family could get together and was unhappy if someone could not make it.
Mary had an adventurous spirit. She loved hot air ballooning, traveling, skiing, boating, snowmobiling, and horseback riding. When her body failed her she continued to talk and dream of her future adventures. Her spirit never died, she talked of when she could do things again, up until the day she died. Having been released from her Earthly body, she can now do all those things she has longed to do for so long.
Mary is survived by her four daughters; Marilyn Petty, Michelle Putnam, Tamara Olk, and Brandi Maynard, the three grandchildren she raised; Justin Anderson, Desiree Brown, and Heather Jensen, as well as, many other grandkids and great grandkids. She is also survived by her older brother, Joe Miehlich, and many other close family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by numerous loved ones.
