Maurine Peterson

Centerville – Our sweet mom, ‘Ma or Granny Pete’, and great grandmother passed away September 27, 2018, 34 years to the day after her beloved husband. She was the daughter of Henry W. Hansen and Alice L. Andrews. She married Glen Peterson on July 29, 1950 in Provo, UT. Together they had 4 children, Debbie (Steve) Fenwick, Kenneth, David, and Karen (Terry) Johnson.

She loved to go on drives, ride her stationary bike, going to the gym and playing cards with her best friend Mary. Her favorite day of the week was when Karen, her hair dresser, would do her hair. She will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and  smile.

She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren; Brandon, Brett, Marc, Terrance, and Tyrone, 16 great grandchildren, and her brothers Tommy and Boyd Jones whom she adored. Proceeded in death by her parents, husband, and sons. Per her request a graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct 5 at 11:00 at the Centerville City Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 that morning at Russon Mortuary, 295 N Main, Bountiful.

In case of inclement weather, a short memorial service will be held at Russon Mortuary prior to interment.
