Max Jones

Max W. Jones, DVM, 91, passed away peacefully in his sleep, August 21, 2006 in Logan, Utah. He was born June 10, 1915 in American Fork, Utah to David W. & Edith Boley Jones. He married Ellen Gardner, June 14, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He attended BYU, graduated from Iowa State University in 1941 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He practiced veterinary medicine in California. Active member in the LDS church holding many positions of responsibility including temple worker in the St. George Temple. He loved music, especially singing. Survived by his wife; children, Marilyn Robbins Bill; Lorraine Barton Don; Charles Sue; and Marvin Annette; 19 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Vivian Cummings. Preceded in death by his parents, by two brothers and two sisters. The family would like to thank the staffs of Bountiful House, Logan House and Access Hospice in Logan. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the North Canyon 7th Ward Chapel, 3350 South 100 East, Bountiful, Utah, where friends and family may call from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. prior to services.
