Maxine Eggett Carson

Maxine Eggett Carson, our sweet and feisty mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children on Tuesday 20th of July, 2021 at the age of 96.

Grandmother had an adventurous spirit and amazed her grandchildren when they realized she enjoyed riding roller-coasters with them. She had a wonderful laugh and a devilish side that snuck up on you.

She and her grandchildren had a great time swimming together. She loved Lots of HUGS from her great grandchildren. She will be missed greatly.

Maxine was born May 2, 1925 in Bountiful, Utah to John Thomas Eggett and Henrietta Bergeleot Cooper. Maxine married her sweetheart Carl O. Carson on January 31″, 1948. Mom was a devoted mother and wife. She loved to crochet and gifted many blankets and afghans to her neighbors and friends. She loved her grandkids, great grandkids and her animals.

Our mother is preceded in death by parents, husband, two brothers, two sisters, and son in-law. She lived a good long life and is survived by her wonderful children Judy Kimball, Vicki Galloway, Brent Carson, and Nancy (Rick) Campbell, three brothers, two sisters, 11 grand kids, and 20 great grand kids.

A special heartfelt appreciation needs to go out to her loving son Brent whose years of loving care allowed her to stay in her home to the end. She was his best friend.

The family would like to thank IHC Hospice for their great care and the Deacons of the Bountiful 24th ward for all the years they brought the sacrament to her.

Services will be held Sunday July 25th from 6-8PM at Russon Brothers Mortuary in Bountiful Utah and the graveside will take place at the Lakeview cemetery Monday the 26th at 11AM.
