If you think that you are too old to learn how to dance, Maxine Conk would disagree. She peacefully left this world for the eternities on February 16, 2014. Her legacy and life is carried on by her four children, three surviving siblings, nineteen grandchildren, her ever growing brood of great grandchildren (36 and counting) and an unnumerable network of friends and extended family whose lives she touched. Maxine taught us a great many lessons in her 82 years on this earth, chief among them: you are never too old to learn how to dance.
Maxine is survived by her children and grandchildren: Robin Conk (wife Cynthia, children Brian, Jeremy, Dustin, and Megan); Rick Conk (wife Robin, children Holly, Tiffany, and Ricky); Tracy Horsley (husband Scott, children Andrew, Christopher, Austin, and Chantell); and Desi Stuart (husband Greg, children, Jenny, Danny, Alisha, Melissa, Kristen, Eric, Lishelle, and Brecken); siblings Billy and Loretta Robbins, Jeanine Cox and Donna Higbee; and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones too numerous to list but remembered nonetheless.
In death Maxine is reunited with her dance partner, best friend, confidante, and eternal companion, Leo Henry Conk. Love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!
