May Marion Muse Zippro

Our sweet mother, grandmother and great grandmother, May Marion Muse Zippro, passed away peacefully June 16, 2017 at the age of 89 surrounded by loving family. Mom was born May 11, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Johannes Marinus Muse and Anna Maria Kramer. She met and married Johannes Zippro August 19, 1949 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together they served two missions to the Netherlands where they loved being around family and sharing the gospel with them and others. She was devoted to her family and loved having them around her even in the last months of her life as she dealt with the vicissitudes of aging.  Mom enjoyed people and made friends with everyone she came in contact with because of her genuine interest in others.  She loved learning and was a voracious reader. She is survived by her children, Julie Meredith (Mike), Brenda Young (Chad), Mike, Bryan (Mary), Evonne, Rob (Teresa), Trudi Watson (Mark) and Eric (Paula), 41 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.  Mom is preceded in death by her husband John; her parents; Brother Corey; and grandson Neal Young.

Funeral services will be held Saturday June 24th at the LDS chapel at 695 S. 200 East Farmington, Utah, at 1 p.m. preceded by the viewing at 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Viewing on Friday June 23rd from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Mortuary; 1941 N. Main Farmington, Utah. Interment- Farmington City Cemetery.
