McQuen Forbush

February 20, 1994 — November 10, 2012

Private 1st Class, McQuen C. Forbush, 18, passed away on November 10, 2012 from carbon monoxide poisoning.

McQuen is survived by his parents, Gretchen and Scott Hymas and Travis and Karen Forbush. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Cassidy Hymas, Presley Hymas, Tucker Hymas, Carsyn Hymas, Logan Forbush, Abby Forbush and Brooklyn Forbush. He is also survived by his grandparents, aunts and uncles, and many cousins who loved and appreciated all that McQuen did for them and stood for in his short but wonderful life.

McQuen was a graduate of Columbia High School in Nampa, Idaho, and also attended Viewmont High School in Bountiful, Utah. He had many wonderful experiences in high school and had more friends than anyone could ask for. He was loved by so many of his classmates and was a positive influence and touched the lives of all those he was associated with.

McQuen was so proud to have the opportunity to serve his country. McQuen graduated from bootcamp at MCRD San Diego, on September 7, 2012 and was currently stationed at Camp Pendleton, in Oceanside, California. His enthusiasm and commitment was incredible and contagious to his fellow marines and family members as well. He was so excited to be a Marine and wanted to serve his country with pride and honor. He lived to be a Marine!!

McQuen will be missed by all who knew him. Especially by his family, and those who were closest to him.

A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary located at 1941 North Main Street, Farmington, Utah 84025, on Friday evening, November 16, 2012 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00AM at the Farmington Ranches 1st Ward building located at 14 South Bonanza Road, Farmington, Utah 84025. Following the funeral services a graveside service will be held at the Farmington Cemetery, located at 500 South 200 East, Farmington, Utah 84025.
