Megan Linda Lichty Sticht, age 43, died Sunday, 6 August 2023 in Murray, Salt Lake, Utah.
Megan was born in Newport, Rhode Island to Gary Leonard Lichty and Pamela Watson Lichty early on a Sunday morning on 30 September 1979. She was truly the finest birthday gift ever given to her Mama. As promised by the poem she was Sunday's child in every possible way. She was good and fair and bonny and gay.
Megan is survived by her daughter, Roxie Elizabeth Sticht and one sister, Bethany Elizabeth Kirkham and her husband Tristan, their four children, Maizie, Zack, Watson and Cache of Kaysville, Utah, one brother, Joseph James Weeda of Layton, Utah, and her bonus children, Stephanie (Josh) Anderson, Katie Sticht, Vic Sticht, and Aaron Sticht. Her parents, Gary Leonard Lichty and Pamela Watson Lichty also survive her.
Megan loved teaching, especially Spanish. She taught from Jr. High age thru High School and loved teenagers. Her students often told her she was a huge influence in their lives.
Megan was our favorite actress. Being on-stage with the lmprovables of Utah was her favorite place to be. When not on the stage she loved voice-over work.
Megan was loved for her kindness, wit, geeky-nerdiness and her desire to spread goodness wherever she went.
She was truly the Wind Beneath Our Wings.
