Melissa Jayne Gresham Smith

Loving Mother, "Me-Me," Sister, Aunt and Friend born July 11, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia, peacefully joined our loving Father in Heaven Sunday, December 17, 2023, at the age of 63, in her home in Clearfield, Utah.

Preceded in death by her parents Harrison & Carolyn Gresham.

Melissa is survived by her children, Jackson Harrison Smith (Cherise) and Jasmyne Leigh Smith (Tim) and grandchildren: Knox, Owen & Weston.

Her life was a beautiful example of kindness, compassion and love for others. She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and her Father in Heaven. She radiated Christ-like love and always made others feel welcomed and loved in her home. She was an amazing Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. 

Melissa is also survived by her siblings:

Jackie Hood (Jerry)

Phillip Gresham (Tammy)

Tammy Black (David)

Stacy Gresham (Mike)

And several nieces and nephews. 

Please join us in celebrating her life at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2023, at Russon Mortuary & Crematory, 1585 West 300 South in Syracuse, Utah, 84075.

In honor of Melissa’s memory, we kindly request that attendees wear her favorite color purple as a tribute to her life and the impact she had on ours. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to a local animal shelter.
