Melva Lola Barber Linge

Melva Lola Barber Linge, born September 29, 1923 died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 4, 2015.

She married Thomas William Linge on March 27, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter –Day Saints with many callings, including Relief Society President, and working with the Young Women.  She served in the temple as an ordinance worker for many years. The most important treasure in her life was spending time with her family.  Her many talents included gardening, sewing, cooking, and hand dipping chocolates.

She is preceded in death by her husband, and 4 grandchildren.  She is survived by her children; Dee Thomas (Diann) Linge, Michael Barber (Dianne) Linge, Suzanne Linge, Gloria (Robert) Daniels, Mark Linge, Peggy (John) LaCognata, Bonnie (Jeff) Hatch, 36 grandchildren, 109 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 7th at 1:00 p.m. at the Centerville1st ward, 160 South 300 East.  There will be a viewing from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  prior to the service at the church.
