Michael Clair Leishman

In loving memory of Michael Clair Leishman age 73.  Our dear Michael passed away peacefully Sunday morning October 18, 2015 surrounded by his family and loved ones.  Michael was born on January 25, 1942 in Salt Lake City Utah to Clair Leishman and Gayle Palmer.  

He was the oldest of five boys:  Michael, Steven, Mark, Randy and Scott.  Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mark Leishman.

Survived by his five children:  Michael Scott Leishman (Shelley), Stacey Lynn Gray (Kevin), Guy William Leishman (Angela), Heidi Anne Mullins (Dallas), and Stacey Young.

Survived by his Grandkids and Great grandkids: Christopher Leishman, Cody T. Gray, Cale R. Gray, Paige Gray, Jentry L. Rutland, Chase Gray (deceased 2005), Haleigh O. Leishman, Brandon W. Leishman, Zachary S. Leishman, Camilla M. Leishman, Nicole Salvatici, Sam Salvatici, Brittney Salvatici, Alex Cooper, Zan Lopez, Brody Lopez, Drake Lopez, Savannah Leishman, Emmalee Leishman, Laytham Gray, Bennett Gray, Peirce Gray, and Cohen Rutland  

Michael was first married to Karla Anderson in the Salt Lake Temple August 11, 1960
Later divorced and married Cherie Lynn Worthen in 1974 and adopted her two children Guy and Stacey

Michael was a resident of Bountiful Utah where he grew up and graduated from Bountiful High School.
Michael joined the Air Force in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1967

He was a graduate of LDS Business College

Michael was an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy novels.  He loved Jazz and instrumental music.  His hobbies included art and calligraphy.  Later he moved his art skills to the computer and would design logos and other art for companies and family members.

A short viewing will be held Tuesday October 27, 2015 at Russon Brothers Funeral Home located at 295 North Main Bountiful Utah from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.  A graveside service will then proceed and will be held at Camp Williams starting at 2:00 pm the same day.
