Michael Jeffery born on February 10, 1948 in Park City, Utah to Royal and Frances Thompson. Mike passed away on December 24, 2014. He grew up in Centerville and Bountiful and attended Bountiful and Viewmont High Schools.
Mike had an adventurous spirit and spent some time as a river guide in Moab. He loved Southern Utah and enjoyed that time in his life, including his contributions to building Ticaboo near Lake Powell. He was in the construction industry and was truly a jack of all trades. He was a very talented carpenter.
Mike loved people. He made and kept many great friends along the way, and his friends meant everything to him. Mike had a big heart; he was kind, giving, and wanted to help whenever and however he could. He loved gardening and to cook with his fresh produce. His favorite days were spent fishing and camping with his good friends.
Mike is survived by his two sisters and their families: Kim (Ron) Bullock, Ann (Parri) Bullock, two nieces and two nephews. Preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Russon Brothers Mortuary. Visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Funeral service at 11 a.m.
