Michelle Garrett Shrader

Michelle was born Sunday, July 30, 1967 in Provo, UT. Two weeks later her parents (John V. Garrett and Deanna Lee Shepherd) moved to Thousand Oaks, CA where she attended school until graduation from Thousand Oaks High School. (Her favorite school interests? beach!)

Michelle is the oldest of six children; four girls, two boys.  

Upon graduation, she chose to attend Ricks College (2 years) where she met her husband, William Richard Shrader, Jr. (Rick), also a student at Ricks College.

Rick and Michelle were married in the Los Angeles, CA temple May 16 1987.

Rick returned to college, attending Brigham Young University and graduated in Exercise Science.   Michelle has always been employed including her latest position with Protech (9 years).

Michelle had multiple interests and talents which include a love of the beach!  Camping, cooking, scrapbooking, interior design, fishing, reading, puzzles, board games, sports (including basketball, volleyball and softball).  She loved summer time, sunshine, travel, making memories, photography, movies.  Family and friends were always welcome.

She was known for her annual pie day (day before Thanksgiving) where she made a variety of 12 pies!

Her only fear?  grasshoppers!

She always had a calling where she served in the LDS church, loving people of all ages.  

Survivors include her husband, William R Shrader, Jr.; daughter Caslyn Nicole Shrader, Kinsie LaRae Shrader and William Logan Shrader.  Parents, nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 21 at the Fox Pointe LDS Chapel, 1520 S. Fox Pointe Dr., Kaysville, UT , there will be a private family gathering from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment- Kaysville City Cemetery.
