Mildred Genevieve Iverson

November 10, 1918 — February 6, 2013

Mildred Genevieve (Genny) Hastings Iverson was born on November 10, 1918 in Durham, Oklahoma and passed away on February 6, 2013 as a result of long term declining health incident to age. In 1948 she married her eternal sweetheart, Halbert L. Iverson, in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was an active member of the LDS church holding a wide variety of positions throughout her life. She deeply loved her family getting a great deal of joy watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and progress.

She is survived by her husband, Halbert L. Iverson, and three children: Grant L. Iverson (Julie), DaNielle Espenschied (Bryan), Anita Core (Rodney), 12 grandchildren & 23 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Wannabelle (Wannie) Iverson, and brothers Raymond (Elna Mae) Hastings and Arthur Hastings. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joel and Alveretta Hastings, and brothers Zenos William Hastings and Loyal Hastings.

The family will receive guests at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 north main, Bountiful, Utah on February 12, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the LDS Centerville 6th Ward, 900 south 400 east, on February 13, 2013 at 11:00 am. The family will also be receiving guests prior to the funeral from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Interment will immediately follow the funeral at the Centerville Cemetery, 400 south 700 east, Centerville, Utah.
