Miranda Pearce Hansen

March 1, 1991 — May 1, 2019

Miranda (Pearce) Hansen graduated from this life with honors, Wednesday, May 1, 2019.  We lost our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.  She loved and served to the end.  Her life ended as a hero bringing a precious daughter into this world.
Miranda was born March 1, 1991 in Salt Lake City, UT to W. Jeffery and Christy (Wood) Pearce.  She grew up in Bountiful, UT where she graduated from Viewmont High School in 2009.  She went on to graduate from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Fine Art with an emphasis in Education in 2015.
Miranda met the love her life, Jacob, while living in Logan, UT.  She was attending a semester at Utah State University while helping family.  They married January 21, 2012 in the Bountiful Temple.  Together they met life's challenges and adventures.  Three beautiful children were added to their family starting in 2015.
Miranda loved many things.  She learned violin and played in her high school orchestra.  Occasionally, Miranda would play the violin in her home. She taught art lessons from her home.  She was not afraid to try any recipe and perfected her bread recipe.  It was often shared with others.  For a time, Jake and Miranda owned two horses.  She loved giving friends and family a ride.  She was good at Ministering to the one based on promptings.  We have discovered many stories of her serving, checking in, and loving other people using multiple methods.
She was a faithful dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She held various callings including Nursery, Sunday School, and Webelos Scout Leader.  The last Sunday of her mortal life she bore a very strong testimony of the Savior.
Miranda is survived by her husband, Jacob O. Hansen and her three beloved children Josiah (4), Persephone (2), and Zipporah (newborn).  She is also survived by her parents, maternal grandmother (Grandma Joanne Wood), and 1 brother Garett (Haley), three sisters Makell (Orion), Alexis (Bobby), and Shelby (David), parents-in-law Norman and Sandy, 1 sister-in-law Jenny (James), and one brother-in-law Dallas (Jami).  She was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing held at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, UT on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 6-8 pm.  There will be a short viewing held Monday May 6, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 am at the Brigham City 12th ward building 139 East 300 North, Brigham City, UT.  The funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the same building.  Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Intermountain Medical Center Neuro ICU staff and the McKay-Dee Rehabilitation Center for their kind and loving care that they provided Miranda.
