Mona Burton Brown

BOUNTIFUL, UT:  Mona Burton Brown, born February 17, 1920 in Afton, Wyoming to Thomas Fielding Burton and Alice Maud Call, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at age 98 in Bountiful, with son Michael and daughters Jeannette, Orpha and Sylvia at her side.  Survived by brother McKay Burton; children Michael (Linda) Brown, Jeannette Sullivan, Orpha Martin, John (Mary) Brown, Sylvia (Rick) Crist and daughter-in-law Lynn Burton; over 115 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her eternal companion Keith Brown, her older siblings, son Roger, daughter Lorretta, sons-in-law Vance Sullivan and Michael Martin and grandsons, Vance Walter Sullivan and David M. Brown.  She was an active member of the LDS church and fulfilled many callings throughout her life.  She always told everyone, “you are wonderful”.  
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the LDS Chapel, 1540 North 400 East, Bountiful. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Tuesday morning 9:45 -10:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment at Roy City Cemetery next to Keith and Lorretta.  The family would like to express their thanks to Barton Creek Assisted Living and the many health workers for their loving care.
