Mona Starley

Mona Wright Starley, 83, passed away July 12, 2013 of complications following surgery in Bountiful, UT.
Mona was born Feb.19, 1930 in Peoa, UT to Adelbert and Clara Rosella Beckstead Wright. She attended South Summit High School where she graduated as valedictorian. Mona graduated from BYU in 1952. She taught high school in Fillmore, UT where she met Milton Lewis Starley. They were married June 6, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mona was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She loved to read, cook and sew. She created many beautiful things that stand as lasting memories of her. She also served in many church callings. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family. Mona is survived by her husband of 58 years, her children Steven (Lynette), Susan Clark (Bruce), Paul (Tracey), Marianne Lara, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, with 4 more on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Wayne Wright, June Robertson and Janice Keeling.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19 at 12:00 pm at the Bountiful 31st Ward,585 East Center Street, Bountiful, UT. Friends and family may visit Thursday, 6 to 8pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful, UT, or Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30am at the church. Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
