Monica Elizabeth Williams

Monica Elizabeth Williams 75, passed away September 23, 2015 peacefully at home. She was born in Blekinge, Sweden on March 5, 1940.  Her best times were spent with her family. She enjoyed camping and traveling. She loved baking and cooking with her sisters, grandchildren and nieces. She spent many an hour bargain shopping and chasing “blue light specials.” She had very talented hands and spread her talents though sewing, crafting and painting. She was a “good egg” and will be missed by all.

Survived by her son Michael (Kimberly) Russell, Stepchildren Pat (Terry) Thompson, Ken (Dian) Williams, Boyd Williams, nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren. Siblings Karin Poynor, Hans (Mary) Carlsson, Vicky Carlsson, several nieces and nephews, and her loyal companions Izzy and Max. Monica is preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Ann Russell, parents Nils and Brith Carlsson, her husband Emery, her brother Ingemar Carlsson, and stepdaughter Kathy Williams.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Centerville Cemetery,650 East 400 South.
