Monique Burr, 45, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, in her home in Bountiful. Shell be sorely missed by her family and the friends who loved her and are grateful to have known her and been taught by her life. She loved reading (particularly books by John Grisham and Gerald Lund), wood carving (she created works of art), and gardening (especially roses). Monique loved puzzles, Sudoku, crosswords, and word searches. While her life on earth was burdened with physical challenges, she is now free. She was a member of the LDS Church. She loved serving the children in the Primary Nursery. Monique is survived by her parents, Robert and Melanee Burr; her siblings, RK, Travis (Jennifer), Chandler (Jennifer), Teylor (Jami), Azure Gaskill (Robert), MiQuelle Dearden (Jordan), and thirteen nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Mueller Park 3rd Ward Chapel (1825 South 850 East, Bountiful, Utah) at noon on Tuesday, February 22nd, with a viewing from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. that morning.
