Myrna McLeod

Myrna Loy Heilesen McLeod was born April 9, 1934 in Glenwood, Utah. Myrna passed away December 18, 2014 at home peacefully after a long battle with breast cancer. She was the daughter of Lloyd A. and Mabel Heilesen. She graduated from Richfield High School. She married Melvin (Jack) John McLeod, May 23, 1965 in Elko, Nevada. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Myrna was an active member of the LDS church and a member of Daughter of Utah Pioneers.
Myrna is survived by her three children: Scott McLeod, Tina McLeod, and Melanie (Brandon) Lobato; and four grandchidlren. Myrna was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; parents, and siblings, Beverly J. Hoyle, Deon Trangmoe, and Neal Heilesen. Myrna will be loved and missed by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Bountiful 22nd Ward, 100 West 990 North. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Monday 11:45 a.m. -12 :45 p.m. at the church prior to services.
