Our loving mother and grandma, Myrna Porter Stathis, returned to her Heavenly Father on February 16, 2016. She was born July 24, 1918 in Pocatello, Idaho to Omni and Edith Porter and was raised in Ogden, Utah. She married Jim Stathis on November 17, 1940 and they spent most of their 47 years together living in Farmington, Utah, raising their 2 children, Janna and John. Myrna also lived in Lake Havasu, AZ., for sometime before returning home to Utah, where she spent her finals years living with her daughter and was surrounded by her many grand and great-grandchildren on a daily basis. She was an amazing seamstress who loved to sing and yodel, cook and bake, and watch the Utah Jazz. It was rare to see her without a deck of cards and her chewing gum! Myrna was such a strong and loving women and we are so honored to have had her in our lives for 97 years!
