Our wonderful mother, Myrne Moss Collier passed peacefully on April 6th, 2023, surrounded by her family. Myrne was a woman of grace and beauty. Hers was a life of faith, family, and service.
A widow of 44 years she will have a glorious reunion with her husband, James Alan Collier; her parents, Benjamin Leo and Alice Kagie Moss; her son Alan; and her three grandchildren, Grant, Sarah, and Bubba.
Myrne loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ, especially during the Easter season. She had great faith and hope in the resurrection of all her family. She served diligently in a variety of callings within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and built lifelong friendships among those with whom she attended.
Myrne was a gifted artist and loved to paint, do needlework, and calligraphy. Her art, especially the depictions of the temples she loved, have been recognized and revered locally and throughout the country.
Myrne was a woman of service and always looked for ways to bless others. You could often find her delivering meals, breads, and pies to her neighbors. She was generous with her time and resources and was always eager to help in the Bountiful and Utah communities that she held so dear.
Her family relationships were extremely important to her. She loved to take her grandchildren to travel the world. The moments of having her entire family together on a trip were some of the most joyful of her life.
We wish to thank Dr. Tyson, her surgeon, as well as the doctors, nurses, and staff at Chancellor Gardens and Russon Mortuary for their gentle care.
Her surviving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss her dearly. Sheri Adams, Laura Belnap (Eric), Lisalyn Anderson (Kelly), James Collier (Rose), John Collier.
There will be a private family service and interment at the Bountiful Cemetery.
