BOUNTIFUL—Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away Monday, January 10, 2017 after a tremendous journey of  93 years. Nadine celebrated her 93rd birthday just 10 days ago.

She was born January 1, 1924 in Hunter, Utah to Henry Earl Day and Gladys Marie Claunch. She was the third of four children. She married Lyle Sears Hintze on June 14, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Nadine served her country during World War II as a civil servant at Camp Kearns. After her military experience, she completed a full-time mission to the Louisiana Texas Mission. Nadine attended BYU and developed a lifelong love for education and languages. Nadine dedicated her life to her greatest passions, teaching her children to love and appreciate the gospel of Jesus Christ and serving as a missionary her entire life. She served three missions with her eternal companion. They served in Chicago Illinois, Rochester New York and at the Family History Center in Salt Lake City. Nadine was a faithful member of the Bountiful 7th ward. She held many callings and served where asked. She was also a worker in the Salt Lake and Bountiful Temples.

Nadine and Lyle delighted in traveling to Israel and Church History sites visiting areas he taught about for years. They also cherished visiting their children and grandchildren in various parts of the world. Nadine was always aware, concerned and caring of their individual needs. She enjoyed reading, genealogy, supporting her grandchildren’s activities and talking with everyone that would listen. Nadine was respected and admired by all who knew her.

Three years after the passing of her husband Lyle, Nadine married Donald Jack Bishop on May 10, 2002 in the LDS Timpanogos Temple for time. She experienced joy and happiness in her marriage and developed a loving bond with her new children and grandchildren. Nadine continued to do activities with Don´s children after his passing in 2005.
