Nancy Morrison

Nancy Morrison passed away peacefully Monday the 13th, 2025 in Bountiful Utah. Born on February 8, 1940 in Columbus, Georgia to Billy Hood and Mary Lou Anderson. Nancy was the second child of three sisters, Betty Stone also known as Dell, and Carol. On September 7, 1963 she remarried, to her sweetheart David Morrison, and celebrated over 50 years before his passing. 

Mother to Lisa Mathews (Terry) , David Earls (Dawn), Michael Earls, and Christine Goddard (Rick).

Grandmother to Amy, Adriane, Britton, Garett, Shauna, Nadine, Justin, Hailey, and Rachel. Great grandmother to 24. 

Nancy had a thriving career with McDonnell Douglas for 25 years in Long Beach California, before retiring and moving to her weekend home near Lake Isabella California. Nancy enjoyed quilting & knitting, and shared her talent with family and friends. After retiring she would help the ladies in her local church ward and donated blankets to the local police department for children. 

Nancy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she contributed and served her local community. 

Nancy enjoyed fishing with her husband Dave, adopting pets from her local animal shelter, and going on trips to visit their family.

The family would like to express their extreme gratitude towards all at The Legacy House in Bountiful Utah, for their extraordinary care. 

Family members will hold off on services and plan to have a celebration of life later this year and scatter her ashes in California.
