On an early warm summer morning, the world became brighter when it welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the loving arms of his parents and older siblings. Nathan William Hunt was born at 3:25 a.m. on August 8, 1996, to Sylvia Miera and Robert Hunt.
Nathan's challenges began early when as a newborn, he spent two weeks in his little “tanning bed” to cure his jaundice. Such a beautiful, energetic, happy, and extremely loving baby blessed our lives. But our world changed when just after his fifth birthday in 2001 he was hospitalized and diagnosed T1 diabetic. He faced that like a warrior and he never let T1 keep him from his dreams and adventures. Nathan loved adventure and ambition.
As an honor roll student throughout junior and senior high school he earned a scholarship to live in Germany as a foreign exchange student and mastered quickly the German language. Nathan loved the Savior, Jesus Christ, and occasionally testified, in brief moments that he was going to live with Jesus and he would be very happy.
Nathan was a gifted, intelligent musician, and classical pianist with a love for playing Chopin and Beethoven sonatas. Nathan was a loving uncle and brother and devoted son, who wanted to spend his life taking care of his mom.
Nathan left this mortality on a cold winter evening taking with him the light he brought but leaving the love he so generously gave.
Thank you, Nano for bringing such unconditional love to all the lives you touched. He was a loyal and loving friend to everyone.
He is survived by his parents, Robert Hunt, and Sylvia Miera-Fisk, and stepdad Glenn Fisk who Nathan was sealed to with his mom for time and eternity. Brothers, Samuel Zizumbo, Jose Miera, Kyle Barrett, Ivan Hunt, sweet sister, Jolene Oldroyd, and Hailey Hunt. Devoted uncle to his numerous 20+ beautiful nieces and nephews. Loyal friend to everyone. Please come and honor Nathan and rejoice in the knowledge he is now free from type 1 diabetes and all his trials and earthly pain.
He is now rejoicing in eternity in his reunion with his friends Aaron and Amy, who preceded him through the veil and now waits with his grandparents and family for our final eternal reunion in the presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
