Biography

Neal Kenneth Olsen (Bud) age 90 passed away September 15, 2012 of complications from a stroke in Bountiful UT. He was born April 15, 1922 to Joseph William Olsen and Ruby Annetta Miller. He married his high school sweetheart Lola Mann on Nov. 29, 1939. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on their first anniversary and enjoyed 72 years together. They enjoyed their retirement years living in both West Bountiful and St. George Utah. He served as a Merchant Marine in WWII and owned Ken Olsen Realty in Bountiful Utah. As an active member of the LDS Church he served in many capacities including Bishop, High Councilman, Seventy and as a proselyting missionary with his wife in Melbourne Australia. He leaves behind six children: LaNette (Ray) Anderson, Connie (C.Jan) Bodily, Kirk Olsen, Denice Argyle, Brad (Denise) Olsen, Shelley (James) Bruhn, 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and siblings: Virgina Richards, Marge Moody, Halvor (Amy) and Karen (Dwaine Hatch). Preceded in death by his wife, son Noel Kenneth, parents, and siblings: Terrence, Dean, Dorothy Servoss, Lucille Servoss, Grace Olsen and Evelyn Green
Funeral services will be held on Saturday Sept 22, 2012 at 11:00 at the West Bountiful 6th ward chapel 1790 N. 900 W, where a viewing will be held prior to the service at 10:00 AM. Interment in the Bountiful Cemetery.
