Nellie Hillembrand

Nellie Ernestine Hillenbrand, age 84, died Saturday July 16, 2005, in Santa Maria, California. She was born on October 30, 1920 in Belle, West Virginia to Myrtle Vaughn and James Steward Casdorph. She married George S. Hillenbrand on October 4, 1940. After her husband’s death, Nellie lived with her daughter, Janice and son-in- law, Dean, in Solvang, California for the past two years.

Nellie loved making crafts, entertaining friends and family and being a housewife.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice C. Klitgaard; two sisters, Judy Savage and Jean Coleman; a brother, Richard Casdorph; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Rose Park 7th Ward, 1155 North 1200 West Street in Salt Lake City. Family and friends, may call Thursday July 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 So 200 East in Salt Lake City and from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the ward.
