Nora Lee Anderson Meyers

Bountiful, Utah- Nora Lee Anderson Meyers, age 94, passed away in the early morning Wednesday, May 3, 2023.  She was born on October 23, 1928 in Evansville, Indiana to Harry Richard and Tidy Blum Dougan Anderson. She grew up in Evansville, Indiana and graduated from Reitz High School in June 1946. That same month the family moved to Los Angeles, California. 
She met William F. Meyers in August 1947. They were married on December 18, 1948 in Glendale, California. They lived in Los Angeles, Gardena and moved to Garden Grove, California in 1965. In August 2020 Nora moved to Bountiful, Utah to live with her son Bob. 
Nora was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Nora enjoyed working as a PBX Operator at Knott's Berry Farm and at West Anaheim Hospital. 
She is survived by her two children, Larry (Martha) Peoria, Arizona and Robert (Ylois) Bountiful, Utah, as well as 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband William F. Meyers, baby daughter Karen Jean, and her parents Harry Richard Anderson and Tidy Blum Dougan Anderson. 
On Monday, May 15th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 12160 Valley View St., Garden Grove, California, there will be a viewing at 10:30-11:30 am followed by the funeral service at Noon.  Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress, California.
