Norita Armstrong-Christensen was born in Idaho Falls, ID in 1940 to William Armstrong and Ida Louise Shumway. She was raised on a farm in Robin, ID and graduated from Marsh Valley High school where she met Terry (Tex) Christensen, the love of her life. They were sealed together for time and all eternity in the Logan Temple in 1959.
Terry worked at Unisys for 38 years as an Accountant. Norita held several jobs, but none as satisfying as spending time with her children. They were blessed with 4 wonderful sons: Brent, Brad, Bryce (Alicia), and Brandon Kyle, and 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. They lived in Bountiful, Seattle, Portland, South Ogden and finished their time on earth residing in Clinton, where they were active in the LDS church.
Norita’s hobbies included crafting, singing in many groups, all sports, including being an avid fan of the Utah Jazz, and she even taught herself to play the piano. She held a variety of music positions in the church throughout her life. She was also Relief Society President and had a strong testimony of the church. Her greatest role in life was being a good mother and her greatest joy was her family.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Raintree Assisted Living and Thatcher Brook Rehabilitation and Care Center for the compassionate care and support provided during Norita's time there.
