Norma Hood

Norma Marble Hood passed away February 28, 2011 of natural causes at Life Care Center of Bountiful. Born May 14, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah to J. Frank Marble and Velma Clegg Marble. Norma graduated from East High School. She married Wayne Hepworth Hood on June24, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her son Kent W. Hood, son-in-law, Keith Sluder, and 3 great-grandchildren. Survived by Rosemary Hood (Kent), Yvonne Sluder (Keith), Jan Livingston (Gerald), Sherrie Jeppsen (Harvey), Marsha Hambleton (Larry) and Greg Hood (Leslie); 20 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. We extend a special thanks to Life Care Center of Bountiful and Inspirational Hospice for their care and service. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. , Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main where friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
