Norma Jean Allen

Norma Jean Allen passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with long standing health problems on Monday, May 14, 2012. She was born on June 16, 1931 to Eugene and Elsie Nopper in St. Louis MO. She married Hubert Rowland in 1952, and they had one daughter.

Norma was a nurse before she retired due to health issues, and worked at Lakeview Hospital. She loved her job and her patients and was much loved.

Norma faced her health problems with bravery and faith, always smiling despite her difficult circumstances.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. She is survived by her daughter Catherine Garcia, her grandchildren Valeri and Andrew Brog, and Angel Garcia.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2012 at St. Olaf’s Catholic Church in Bountiful. Cremation will follow, with final interment with her beloved husband Hubert at Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, MO.
