Norma was born on April 18, 1931 in Santa Monica, California and passed peacefully on Dec. 29, 2020. Born to Alma Athella and Donald Kelly Huffman she was the second daughter of six girls. Norma married John Mull in February 1953 and later divorced. During her life she lived in and traveled to numerous areas of the United States from Florida to Hawaii and many places in between. She loved to sing and was very talented, performing in musicals in high school and college as well as community theater. She wrote poetry and children’s stories to the delight of her five kids and numerous grandchildren. Her children have fond memories of her reciting nursery rhymes which they all learned by heart. Disneyland was her favorite vacation spot and she was often heard singing, “It’s a Small World.” Norma was passionate about Christmas and See’s Chocolates and felt strongly that one could not be enjoyed without the other. She is survived by her five children; Athella, Cindy (Randy), Sandra (Drew), Robert (Paige), Melvin (Marcia), twenty four grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and two sisters; Dawn Hardy and Gloria Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three grandchildren. She will be missed here on earth but will have a joyous reunion with her loved ones in Heaven.
