Olive Moore

Olive Coates Moore, born on February 19, 1926 in Birkenshaw, Yorkshire, England, passed away May 6, 2014 at the age of 88. Olive was the only child of Alice Ella Walker and Willie Coates. She married Norman Leslie Moore on June 22, 1946 and was later sealed to Leslie in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She leaves behind six children: Kathryn Ward, Hillary (Greg) Diven, Lisa Monson, Beverly Villalobos, Stuart Leslie Moore, and Barbara June Moore. She had 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren with 4 more on the way. They were her greatest joy in life. She had a strong faith in God and was a firm member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She filled many church callings, including a Temple mission to New Zealand. She loved music and played the organ in the Temple and at church. Mom influenced many people teaching them piano lessons for over 50 years. She moved to America in 1951 but never lost her British accent. Her husband and parents have taken her home. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM at Russon Brothers Mortuary 295 N. Main, Bountiful, UT. Thursday, May 15. A viewing will take place at 9:45.
