Olive Pope

Olive Margaret Pope passed away peacefully on January 10, 2015. Olive was born September 27, 1926 to Guido and Mary Serafini in Clarksburg, W. Virginia. She married Laurence Plumb in 1946 and had four children. They were later divorced. She married Grant M. Pope May 9, 1998 in the Bountiful, UT temple.
Olive was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was blessed with many faith promoting experiences. She had a great love for life and her many friends. The joy and fulfillment received from her many callings was exceeded only by the love she felt towards her family. One of her greatest joys was her calling for three years along with her husband Grant as an ordinance worker in the Bountiful Temple. Olive served innumerable people in her lifetime and appreciated the service she received later in life.
Olive is survived by her sister Evelyn (Wallace) McNary and brother Augustine Serafini; her children David (Laura) Plumb, Larry (Marsha) Plumb, Judy Genta, and Linda (Grant) Bishop and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Stephen (Kathy) Pope and Jan (Jeff) Pratt.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2pm at the LDS Chapel located at 3317 S. 800 W., Bountiful, UT with a viewing prior to the service from 12:45pm to 1:45pm. Interment at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com
