Pamla Zumbrunnen

March 1, 1943 — May 27, 2014

Our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend Pam passed away peacefully in her home on May 27, 2014 surrounded by her husband and three children. She lived courageously with cancer for over two years.

She was born in Franklin, ID on March 1, 1943. She attended college at Utah State University. She worked at Sperry Univac where she met her sweetheart, Bob that she would be married to for over 49 years. She spent her married life as a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was an active member of the LDS Church and loved her callings in the Primary and Relief Society. She enjoyed quilting, golf, baking, softball, and gardening. She gave selflessly of herself to those around her. She had a happy personality and was a loyal friend.

Preceded in death by parents, Douglas and Virginia Corbridge. Survived by her loving husband, Robert, her children Margo (Steve) Hammond, Renee (Dave) Young, and Blake Zumbrunnen (Jenny); four grandchildren Megan, Jake, Rachel, and Josh; brother Kendall (Maxine) Corbridge, sisters Peggy (Blair) Greaves, Kay Bell, and Cindy (Shane) Keller.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful from 6 – 8 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 2, 2014 at 12:00 pm, with a viewing before services from 10:30 – 11:30 am at the Bountiful East Stake Center 2150 South 650 East, Bountiful, Utah.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Huntsman Cancer Institute and Hospital for their delicate and attentive care and friendship.
